The social impact of the web: society, government and the internet

Description: Over the course of a decade, a billion of us have come together to create a global platform that connects us all, enables us to send a memo to the whole world and access our accumulated knowledge in two clicks of a mouse. On Thursday 8 March at 9am, the RSA, in collaboration with Policy Unplugged, will host an event exploring the implications of this mass collaboration, how we conduct our politics, how our democracy will function and how we run our public services.
